SENIOR HIGH MISSION TRIP

SENIOR HIGH’S GO TO DENVER!
July 15 - 22, 2023

If you are a Senior High youth (9th-12th grader) this trip is for YOU! We invite you to join us for a nine-day trip, July 15-22, 2023, with YouthWorks to Denver, Colorado. Each year we partner with this incredible organization. YouthWorks essential core values are being youth-minded and relationship-oriented, focusing on servant leadership, and believing in the life-change that Christ offers us all. All of the very things we value in our youth ministry at Centenary.

As our group partners with those seeking to bring hope, you’ll have the opportunity to see the changes and challenges the city of Denver is facing. Serve with local food shelves, a Sidewalk Sunday School program that brings the message of Jesus to different neighborhoods, or other organizations caring for their neighbors in meaningful ways. Worship while taking in a beautiful mountain view, explore the community, and hear from local residents about what it looks like to live and serve in Denver. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2000.

In the evenings we will participate in a local worship service, prepare, and serve a community meal, explore the beautiful mountains, and hear from local community members who work with teenagers and adults who grew up in the inner-city.
