Senior Adult Ministry
Senior Adult Missions
The Senior Adult Ministry at Centenary United Methodist Church is a loving and caring ministry designed to provide all senior adults an opportunity to participate in a very meaningful ministry. As such we have many exciting missional areas that you can be a part of.
Senior Adult Luncheon
The Senior Adults enjoy a luncheon the third Thursday of each month with programs which are interesting, informative and entertaining.
Senior Adult Trips
Travel is a great part of the Senior Adult Ministry. Trips are arranged, some for two to three days, some for one day, and others for an evening out to attend a play or other entertainment in the Winston-Salem area. Click below to see what we have coming up.
DAYBreak Respite Care
DAYBreak Respite Care provides older adults who have some degree of memory impairment the opportunity to engage in social, spiritual, and recreational activities while giving the caregiver a break from the full-time care of their loved one. These opportunities are presented in a setting which supports new friendships, encourages the development and maintenance of new skills and abilities, and offers ways to contribute to the group and the broader community.
DAYBreak is open to the community and if you are interested in enrolling a participant or in volunteering to help with this rewarding ministry please contact
Debbie Pilson, Director of DAYBreak Respite Care.
