Kindermusik Wiggle & Grow
Room 303 East Building • 2-3 Year Olds • 5-5:40 pm
This music-filled class celebrates growing toddlers and the unique opportunity for Parents to participate with them in this joyful learning environment. Each week, children will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with their parents and other young Centenary families, and they’ll love practicing a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, children and parents will discover tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continues at home with Kindermusik Home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each unit’s story.

Kindermusik Move & Groove
Room 303 East Building • Pre-K & Kindergarten • 5:55-6:35 pm
Children will be engaged in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Children will learn basic music vocabulary and notation—all setting the stage for a musical foundation and school success. Parents join the fun for a few final activities each week. The Kindermusik home materials extend the benefits all week long with music from class, activities for the whole family, and each unit’s story.

Visual Art
Room 108 East Building • Pre-K-Kindergarten • 5-5:40 pm
Children create hands-on art projects in our beautiful living art gallery. Art projects are displayed twice each year in Centenary’s Art in the Atrium series.

Carol Choir
Room 305 East Building • 1st-3rd Grade • 5-5:40 pm
The Carol Choir lovingly utilizes foundational music skills and tools to create an ensemble experience for young children. Through movement, singing, and playing instruments, this choir fosters a love of music and invites children to be leaders of the music and worship experience. The Carol Choir will help lead worship during the year and perform at Arbor Acres in the spring. Elementary basic church music is included in our repertoire.

Chapel Chimes
Room 301 East Building • 1st-3rd Grade • 5:45-6:35 pm
This chime choir is a prelude to the Joyful Noise Ringers. Using Chime Magic® and other tools including movement and music games, children have fun as they learn to play chimes together. In addition to playing songs and creating their own melodies, children learn the basic elements of music: keeping a steady beat, note values, counting, and beginning note reading. Previous musical experience is not necessary, but regular attendance is very important.

Junior Choir
Room 305 East Building • 4th-6th Grade • 5:45-6:35 pm
The Junior Choir focuses on the fundamentals of reading music and singing with good choral tone, inspiring children to be leaders of music and worship. This ensemble participates in worship throughout the year and concludes the spring season with a musical!

Joyful Noise Ringers
Branton Choir Room • 4th-6th Grade • 5-5:40 pm
Joyful Noise Ringers is our children's handbell choir. In this group, children learn to play handbells and further develop their musical skills and knowledge using a curriculum developed especially for elementary-age ringers. Children learn note values, counting, note reading, musical terminology, conducting patterns, and movement. The Joyful Noise Ringers play for several worship services during the year and have the opportunity to participate in an annual children’s handbell festival in Raleigh! Previous musical experience is NOT necessary, but regular weekly attendance is very important.
