EVANGELISM
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, the worshipped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:16 – 20
Two interrelated words describe our evangelism efforts at Centenary: invitation and hospitality.
We invite:
1) People who do not currently have a church home to become part of Centenary;
2) Members of Centenary who are not currently involved to renew their commitment to follow Christ at this church;
3) Active members to look for new ways to grow as disciples.
As we invite persons, our goal is to extend hospitality. Anyone who visits us is a guest of Jesus! That being the case, we want to welcome everyone warmly. We believe that is the responsibility of each and every one of us to live out our mission statement - "Sharing the Word of God and the Love of Jesus Christ with All People."
