Course Descriptions
DISCIPLE Bible Study
This DISCIPLE Bible Study Program is a multi-level course designed to develop strong Christian local churches through the in-depth study of Scripture. It features group discussion of Scripture based on careful study and preparation. DISCIPLE participants are strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. DISCIPLE is active in 34 denominations. Disciple I is a re-requisite for the other levels of Disciple but the other levels do not have to be taken in any particular order.
Christian Believer Study - "Knowing God with Heart and Mind"
This 30-week study on Christian history and doctrine addresses the substance of the Christian faith and the connection between believing and living. This resource studies the classical doctrines of the Christian faith and aims to develop commited discipleship. In preparation for the two hour weekly class there are daily readings of Scripture and of writings of early and modern church leaders. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
SoulfeastAn Invitation to the Christian Spiritual Life by Marjorie Thompson
This 10-week study focuses on the book Soulfeast by Marjorie Thompson. The course relies heavily on discussion and personal reflection. This course is a great introduction for persons interested in learning more about the spiritual disciplines. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
