2012 Faith in Film Series
Begins February 5 • 2:00 pm

Our Faith in Film series kicks off today, in the Dining Room, with the movie "Shane." Butter Birkas, former Director of River Run International Film Festival, has selected this and other films which reveal how one character’s actions can profoundly affect the lives of those around her or him. The event starts at 2:00 pm and popcorn is always served!  See the back cover for details on other great FIF screenings this month! See poster below.

Music and the Arts Reading
March 6, 13, 20, 27 • 7:00 pm

Music and the Arts is happy to announce The Brothers Karamazov, by Fyodor Dostoevsky, as the book of choice for the March 2012 Tony Abbott discussion series. The lectures will be held in the Auditorium and are a wonderful introduction to perhaps the greatest novel and certainly the greatest religious novel ever written even if reading has only begun or is in process! The edition for the study is The Garnett Translation, revised by Ralph E. Matlaw. This version is available in Glad Tidings. Registration is encouraged.  RSVP to Karen Rogers (397-1343).
